In-depth workshops, fringe programmes and post-screening discussions. Are you looking to go more in depth with a performance? Then Theater aan het Vrijthof’s context program is the answer. A visit to the theatre is often more than just an evening or afternoon out. For exactly this reason, we organise various activities such as public rehearsals, talk shows, guided tours, master classes and workshops. Below, you will find our context programming as soon as it is confirmed. A number of activities will be announced during the course of the season via our newsletter and on the website.

Throughout the year, the Theater aan het Vrijthof foyers form the backdrop for various art exhibitions that can be viewed during the theatre's opening hours. Exhibitions featured at other locations are also included in the programme during festivals.

Want to be more than just an audience member? We make that possible during our workshops. You can learn a plethora of skills that you can put into practice straight away. For example, learn comic book drawing, harness the power of your imagination or dance together with your toddler.
