'A personal, vulnurable story'
Pieter van Loenen graduated from the Royal Conservatory in The Hague with a 10 with distinction and also received the Fock medal for the best final exams. He combines music with dance, with which he tells a personal and vulnerable story. A new work by Jan-Peter de Graaff, especially composed for this concert, highlights the theme of innocence. The jury judged: 'Pieter van Loenen is sovereign, confident on stage and with his deep musical play he takes everyone into his story.'
