Thanks to masters such as Leoninus and Perotinus, and poets such as Adam de Saint-Victor and Pierre Abélard, Notre-Dame in Paris became the birthplace of polyphony. The mysterious, sometimes perplexing but always gorgeous songs of these pioneers fit the crystal voices of Discantus like a glove.
