Marion Dumeige (sopraan)

Dutch Classical Talent

When this singer appears on the scene, expect an expressive soprano. It's not for nothing, that the Jury of Dutch Classical Talent calls her an unadulterated opera singer.

Quote Jury:
'Marion is an unadulterated opera singer with an endearing personality. Her empathy and expressiveness are admirable.'

This program gives Marion Dumeige the opportunity to showcase her talent in every way. With love arias from La Bohème and Don Giovanni and romantic songs such as Clair de lune and Gretchen am Spinnrade, the French soprano creates her own intimate solo opera. She sings about a love story accompanied by a storyteller. Unlike the classics by Puccini and Mozart, the end of Dumeige's story is not fixed and the audience decides: will there be forgiveness or will it end in a break?

As a talent trajectory, Dutch Classical Talent is a household name in the Dutch classical music world. Among the laureates of Dutch Classical Talent are numerous renowned names such as Tania Kross, Lavinia Meijer, Nora Fischer, Van Baerle Trio and the Berlage Saxophone Quartet. A jury selects four top talents through auditions. These four young musicians develop in a coaching program and go on tour in the twelve largest concert halls in the Netherlands to put their name on the map. Their programs are stimulating, topical, moving and spectacular. This year the talents are a varied mix; a singer, a percussion duo, a pianist and a cellist. Here you can hear the top musicians of tomorrow.
