Violinist Yuzuko Horigome shares her virtuosity and rich musicality with audiences all over the world. As a soloist, she has played with the best orchestras in the world, including the London Symphony Orchestra, Berliner Philharmoniker, Wiener Symphoniker, Concertgebouworkest, St Petersburg Philharmonic and New York Philharmonic. She teaches at the Koninklijk Conservatorium in Brussel and Conservatorium Maastricht and is often a jury member at numerous international competitions.
Marc Tooten is a viola teacher at the Maastricht Conservatory. He also teaches viola and chamber music at the Lemmens Institute in Leuven. He gives master classes in France and Portugal, including for the European Academy of Arts. He was principal soloist with the I Fiamminghi chamber orchestra and the Beethoven Academy, and in that capacity is regularly requested by the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra of Flanders, the Brabant Orchestra, the WDR Orchester Cologne and orchestras in Spain. He is co-founder and member of the Arriaga String Quartet. With the Salzburger Solisten he took part in the most important chamber music festivals in France and the German-speaking area. He plays with chamber musicians such as Abdel Rachman El Bacha, Edouard Brunner and Martin Lovett. He forms a duo with pianist Paul Hermsen, and with clarinetist Geert Baeckelandt the three form the NotaBene Ensemble. As a musician and producer, Marc Tooten has participated in music theater productions and many CD recordings, including CDs with light repertoire by, for example, Johan Verminnen, Clouseau, Kane and Rocco Granata.
