A MOSAIC NARRATION
FRAMED is a cinematic edited story in which live dance, film images and music together reveal a story.
In the latest production by Conny Janssen Danst, we observe thirteen characters who apparently have nothing to do with each other. Through film images and live dance we see slices of life and we zoom in on the different small lives, each in its own space. We discover what connects them through a mosaic of stories. Where their individual lives touch without realizing it.
After the large theater performances HOME , BROOS and KIEM , all of which have been created with a strong personal urgency, choreographer Conny Janssen focuses on image, image and identity with her new creations for the main hall.
New in FRAMED is the large role for video that is added to the show. In addition, Conny Janssen again works with an adventurous group of dancers , consisting of young talent and famous faces. FRAMED's music is a varied soundtrack that moves between crystal clear classical music and rough urban sound bites.
