As a result of a thermic shock during a wintertour in Canada, dancer and choreographer Michèle Anne De Mey suddenly ends up in a coma from which she only will wake up after a while. In Amor she relives that almost-dead experience and the overwhelming love she feels from her close ones in a magical vision of light and warmth. Amor is because of its theme, the magnificent film images of husband Jaco Van Dormael, magical theatre techniques, Purcells wonderful music, the beautiful decor and the fascinating interaction between dancers and projections a penetrating and emotional performance. A universe you didn’t know existed.
A performance for those who love the incredible. For who believes in more between here and the afterlife. And for those who believes in the power of love or who want to be converted to that believe.
