The evil fairy Carabosse curses Princess Aurora to 100 years of sleep by a single finger prick on her 16th birthday. Doomed by fate, only a prince's sweet kiss can break the spell and wake the sleeping beauty.

Sleeping Beauty is an undisputed crown jewel of the classical-romantic ballet genre. The dark fairy tale is superbly brought to life by The National Ballet of Moldova from Chisinau in this production by Konstantin Sergeyev. Tchaikovsky's world-famous score is played live by the ballet orchestra. The visually stunning set by Vyacheslav Ocunev and elaborate costumes by Irina Press complete the fairytale experience.
