The young dancers of NDT 2 will perform two world premieres this evening: by German choreographers Marco Goecke and Felix Landerer. In addition, they will present 27 "52" by master choreographer Jiří Kylián.
Triptych by top choreographers
In 27'52 '' (2002) Kylián takes the viewer into a game of seeking and being sought, holding and being held, pulling and pushing. A game in which the dancer eventually has to leave the stage alone. The title not only refers to the length of the work, but also to the date of birth of Gerald Tibbs (20-07-1952), the former dancer and NDT icon to whom the work is dedicated. Marco Goecke, with his peculiar, unique movement language, one of the world's most in-demand choreographers, presents a new work for NDT. Felix Landerer also adds a new creation with the dancers of NDT 2. He previously created the successful The whys and wherefores are elusive (2019) for NDT 2.
