In The Greenhouse Dances, a merciless relay race takes six dancers and a musician away from their starting point. Condemned to each other, they continuously sample their movements: twisty, direct, purposeful, then soft, hesitant and vulnerable. Encouraging the space with associations, with time as the executioner.
Lorenzo Pagliei uses magnified everyday sounds for the sound design. Within it, fragile, conjuring melodies and powerful rhythms of the furiously playing and dancing percussionist Antonio Rubio Gutierrez resound.
Choreographers Andrea Leine and Harijono Roebana are distinguished by their unique dance idiom and the central role of music in their work
