Tom & Jerry in de Tuin der Lusten

Martin Oei (piano)

10.04.2021 Martin Oei - Tom & Jerry Tuin der Lusten

-  For visitors  from the age of 8 and older -

Exciting combinations of image and music by Franz Liszt: the Dante sonata with the triptych The Garden of Earthly Delights by Jeroen Bosch, and The Cat Concerto by Tom & Jerry with the second Hungarian Rhapsody.

Pianist Martin Oei also asked young artists to visualize the life of Franz Liszt. Of course Oei will play the works of the famous Hungarian composer and pianist live. The leitmotif here are the choices Liszt made in his life and loves. Why did he run off with the married Marie d'Agoult at a young age? Why did he stop his successful recitals? What made him choose the faith in later life?

Liszt's life in images and sound
by Martin Oei

In addition to Liszt's original works, the arrangements he made of compositions by Schumann and Schubert also sound. A performance for young and old.
