Mix the ballet of Swan Lake with the fairy tale The Wild Swans, add a touch of Cinderella, and you have a fun libretto for a youth opera! The king is looking for a special woman to marry. But what makes someone special? What do you have to be able to do? When the king gives a ball that evening, Elize and Azalea draw lots to decide who will go to the ball. Elize wins and promises to be home before twelve o'clock. When she gets home, she finds Azalea, who claims that an evil witch has turned the sisters into swans. Elize desperately sets out to find her sisters.
'Swan Lake for Children is a complete hit: simple, but well put!'
