Dolly Dots

The Dolly Dots, then consisting of Angela Groothuizen, Angéla Kramers, Anita Heilker, Esther Oosterbeek, Patty Zomer and Ria Brieffies, were the most popular Dutch girl group of the eighties.

With their style of cheerful dance and pop they scored many hits in the Netherlands, but also in the rest of Europe and beyond. At the highlight of their success in 1984, the Dolly Dots had their own TV series, Barbie Dolls, Wallpaper, and a #1 hit, like Love Me Just a Little Bit, and hits like Radio, She's a liar, We tell it all about boys, and STOP.

Dutch stages'

In 2020 they celebrated their 40th anniversary. In addition to the many hits that they will perform one more time, they also tell the story behind the success. What was it like to be a Dolly Dot? And what crazy circus did they end up in? It promises to be an intimate evening with the aging former teen idols, who look back on that special time with a lot of self-mockery. After all this time: we love you just a little bit more!
