Theater aan het vrijthof is open!

Ours doors are open, the curtain is lifted! Fantastic news. Thank you for your patience these last months, for your support and appreciation. There is a light on the horizon and we are excited to welcome both you and our artists to the theatre again.

Even so, there are still some restrictions in place for the coming weeks, which we have to meet in order to open our doors. Just as before the lockdown, we follow the 3G measures, which means you should bring your QR-code and a valid ID. Masks are also obligatory when moving inside the building, when seated you are allowed to remove it. We will have to keep 1,5 meters social distance, also in the theatre halls. This will be possible, however not for all performances. Sold out performances we will have to move or cancel. 

Our theatre bar is allowed to open again as well, but only if we can offer you a seat. And even though the days are getting longer, in the world of theatre, for the time being the days end at 22.00h. 

Last but not least, for our artists, players and theatre companies, it is not always natural to get back on the stage after such a long lockdown. For this, we ask for your understanding.

We will continue to puzzle within the given restrictions and will look with our artists what the coming weeks will look like. Do you have tickets for any of our performances in the coming month? You will receive an e-mail with our most recent and up to date information soon.
