30% of the inhabitants of Maastricht have an international background. Maastricht is the most popular city for international knowledge workers to live and work in, 80% of all the incoming internationals in South Limburg settles here. But who are those internationals, have you met them? Well now, Let’s Catch Up!

Let’s Catch Up is a partnership between the Expat Centre Maastricht Region, the Knowledge Center for International Staff Maastricht University, the Bonnefantenmuseum, Lumière Cinema, Centre Céramique-Natuur Historisch Museum-Kumulus, the Muziekgieterij and the Theater aan het Vrijthof. A wide range of social and cultural events is organized with an opportunity for internationals and locals to meet each other.

Theater aan het Vrijthof presents English-language theatre, opera, dance, family and classical music performances with an English-language introduction, sometimes English-language surtitles, in cooperation with Let’s Catch Up.
An exclusive element is always added to these events. This can be a backstage tour, a meet & greet with the actors or an inspiring guest speaker and of course a drink afterwards to chat with each other.

The Let’s Catch Up events are meant for everyone who speaks English and is internationally oriented or just wants to meet and catch up with our international inhabitants: Let’s Catch Up!
