No Christmas is complete without the Mastreechter Staar. Every year on Boxing Day the men of this Royal choir follow tradition and give the Kerstconcert in Theater aan het Vrijthof. The Christmas tour of the 'Staar' concludes with a home concert, with the men performing a varied Christmas concert under the musical direction of their new conductor Hennie Ramaekers and pianist Michiel Ballhaus.  

Traditional Christmas songs shall not be missed. It is a special experience to hear the men of the Mastreechter Staar sing Silent Night, proving that many men can sing very softly. Kerstconcert is a must for everyone who enjoys the Christmas period.
