PARTNERED THEATRE COMPANIES
Philzuid, Toneelgroep Maastricht, Opera Zuid, SALLY. They are partnered theatre companies and creators who make productions, rehearse, premiere or conclude their tour in our house. They are the companies that are inextricably linked to our own house. Philzuid has long been a partner of Theater aan het Vrijthof. And Toneelgroep Maastricht, now based in Maastricht's Bordenhal, once started under the roof of the Generaalshuis under the name Het Vervolg. Opera Zuid and SALLY complete the list. OXYGEN is artist in residence and will stay at Theater aan het Vrijthof for a period of two years.
TONEELGROEP
MAASTRICHT
One of the major national theatre companies, Maastricht's municipal theatre company and partnered theatre company at Theater aan het Vrijthof. Its performances focus on a positive view of humanity.
OPERA ZUID
Tradition and modernity come together in Opera Zuid's productions. Based on the belief that opera can change your life, the company travels throughout the Netherlands to share new performances with as large and diverse an audience as possible.
OXYGEN
The young Maastricht choreographer Jennifer Romen and her company OXYGEN impress audiences with detailed choreography and visual illusions. The company will be artist in residence at the theater for the next two years.
PHILZUID
The orchestra of the southern Netherlands, based in two locations: Maastricht and Eindhoven. The orchestra promotes itself nationally and regionally with symphonic music of the highest standard and innovative crossovers.
SALLY
SALLY creates virtuoso and technically challenging dance performances for children, young people, and anyone who is young at heart. They invite young audiences and their families to experience new worlds through dance and to create their own worlds.
