Ronald Brautigam (piano)

Ronald Brautigam is a highly demanded pianist with an international career. He gives solo recitals and performs all over the world with leading orchestras.

Besides pianist, Ronald Brautigam is best known as one of the leading fortepianists of his time. International acclaim is high for his recording on period instruments of all solo works by Joseph Haydn, Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart and Ludwig van Beethoven. Brautigam is also an enthusiastic chamber musician. Prior to his solo recital in honour of his seventieth birthday at the Concertgebouw in Amsterdam, he will play his programme in the intimate Bovenzaal of Theater aan het Vrijthof.
