Baby, I’ve got the blues
Gwendolyn Masin (viool) & Caspar Vos (piano)

Violinist Gwendolyn Masin and pianist Caspar Vos take you to the 'roaring twenties' of the 20th century. An exciting period where jazz and classical music had a swinging dialogue. For example, George Gershwin came to Paris to be taught by Ravel. This is a wonderful programme full of uplifting music, destined for these brilliant musicians! You will hear Gershwin's world famous hits Summertime & It Ain't Necessarily So and Ravel's version of the blues.
This concert is part of De Zondagklassiekers (The Sunday Classics) series.
