Sarah and Roeland have been playing together since 2008, eight year with the Rubens Quartet and since 2016 as core member of the new Rubens Consort, a flexible chamber music collective.
In the fifteen years of their musical commitment the musicians have created a very recognizable style, playing together became like second nature to them. On their new album Reflections, the duo opts for unjustly underexposed repertoire by famous composers, as well as completely unknown gems from 500 years of music history. The cherry on top is the work of Thomas Beijer, which he composed especially for the duo.
This concert is part of the series de Zondagklassiekers.
