The winner of the Dutch Music Prize can certainly expect an invitation from Theater aan het Vrijthof. No style is too strange or too crazy for Vincent van Amsterdam: his repertoire ranges from the earliest Baroque music to the most recent compositions.

With a virtuosity that serves only the music, he opens up an almost unimaginable world of sound on his Bugari Prime3 accordion. From the jury report (Dutch Classical Talent 2016): 'Vincent van Amsterdam is an accordionist with a great musical personality. With his interpretations, he shows his audience the many surprising possibilities of the accordion. [He is] a refined music connoisseur with an exceptionally keen eye for detail. The Dutch Music Prize committee praises his hunger and constant search for repertoire for his instrument: the accordion.'
