Festival The Art of Song Maastricht

The new song festival The Art of Song Maastricht presents top-level concerts and an international masterclass for vocal-piano duos. A highlight of the festival programme: baritone Vincent Kusters performs Schubert's masterpiece Winterreise, accompanied by none other than world-renowned pianist Julius Drake.

In this poignant song cycle – which Schubert himself described as his most penetrating songs – Schubert takes the listener on an inner journey full of loss, hope and tranquillity. A unique opportunity to experience this romantic masterpiece live in the iconic Sint Janskerk.
