Dance company Aterballetto, led by Spanish artist Marcos Morau, pays special tribute to the creative power of Oscar winner Ennio Morricone and his iconic cinematic works (from Nuovo Cinema Paradiso to Once Upon a Time in America and from A Fistful of Dollars to Broken Shoes).

With his choreography, Morau creates a visionary and dynamic world in which Morricone's music is interwoven with dance, visual art, and cinema. “Morricone always went beyond the trends of his time. I want to show that his legacy is more alive than ever and—as he himself would say—that his music has a life of its own, separate from the films for which it was made.”
