WARBOEL is a dazzling performance: surprising juggling rhythms, music and singing come together, and the audience also participates in this crazy encounter. We throw a web of beats and voices, get tangled with a common thread, throw 150 tennis balls, celebrate a sad birthday and try to make contact with ‘the other’.
But isn’t ‘the other’ yourself?
What makes WARBOEL unique are its innovative instruments. Take for example the Thread Ball, a juggling instrument that literally connects players and spectators by leaving a thread behind with each throw. With the Oddball, a ball full of sensors, bass lines, melodies and soundscapes are created by juggling. And then there’s the Micbal, which records live voices from the audience and weaves them into a musical tapestry of stories.
Step into the world of WARBOEL and experience the fusion of juggling, rhythms and singing, of players and audience. WARBOEL cannot exist without you!
