It is Christmas Eve and at the Stahlbaum family it is time for presents. Clara receives a beautiful nutcracker doll from her godfather. At night, the doll transforms into a handsome prince, who takes Clara to an adventurous fairytale world. Together with an army of tin soldiers, they go to war against the false mouse king and travel further past, among other things, the sweet Candy Kingdom.

The classical-romantic ballet The Nutcracker was first danced in St. Petersburg in December 1892 and is still one of the most popular ballets in the world today.
