Philzuid festively ushers in the brand new year 2026 with danceable music from all over the world. A varied programme will take you on a journey. From the Hungarian dances of Chopin to Dvořák and from Copland to Khachaturian, this evening offers a rich palette of styles and melodies.

Be surprised by musical worlds ranging from ABBA's world hit (Dancing Queen!) to the classic Márquez: Danzon No 2. Philzuid and conductor John Axelrod throw out all the stops. And of course it is no New Year's concert without a special guest. That's why Philzuid gives way to its own solo clarinettist Jules Baeten, who shines in Aaron Copland's Clarinet Concerto. This New Year's concert is the perfect, multifaceted start to the new year.
