Baroque ensemble Ad Mosam's anniversary concert is a look back at the past 30 years and the composers who inspired them: Bach, Händel and Vivaldi.
Conductors Huub Ehlen and Bernard Woltèche lead orchestra and audience through a festive evening of music by these three greats. The programme opens with Bach's impressive chorus Wachet auf, ruft uns die Stimme. This is followed by Spring from Vivaldi's Four Seasons and Händel's majestic hymn Zadok the Priest. Bach's cantata Christen, ätzet diesen Tag with its jubilant trumpets and beautiful choruses is the perfect conclusion to the evening.
