In the run-up to the holidays, the Ukrainian Partes Ensemble presents Baroque masterpieces from the 17th and 18th centuries, when Kiev and Lviv were crossroads of musical traditions. Theorist-composer Mykola Dyletsky brought Italian influences to the East, while prodigy Maksym Berezovsky propelled the choral concerto to new heights. Through powerful twelve-part chants and sophisticated miniatures, an enchanting winter wonderland unfolds.
