De Graaff and librettist Jibbe Willems explore the world of the Biblical Exodus. Their oratorio The Golden Calf is inspired by the epic exodus of a people in search of a new future. A timeless subject matter that is powerfully relevant for our time. Studium Chorale and philharmonie zuidnederland will give this apt musical drama its world premiere during the Musica Sacra Maastricht festival.
