What happens when the loudest voice you hear is inside your own head? Loud Whispers is a probing dance performance about the inner dialogue that shapes or breaks us. The voice that drives us forward, but also the voice that makes us doubt. A whisper that is sometimes soft and sometimes overwhelming - fuelled by fear, expectations and the tension between who we are and who we think we should be.

Choreographer Denden Karadeniz and Zero Dance Theatre translate this struggle into a powerful movement idiom merging hip-hop and contemporary dance. The live music too is a fusion of worlds: the Dareyn Ensemble, led by Emine Bostanci, interweaves Eastern and Western sounds into a layered soundscape that reflects our inner voices.
