Nederlandse Dansdagen Internationaal: Arts Umbrella

Arts Umbrella Dance Company is coming to Maastricht from Canada for a one-off, exclusive performance at this year's festival. The dance company is part of the successful Arts Umbrella Academy for Dance in Vancouver. The academy prepares students for professional dance careers with top international companies, such as Nederlands Dans Theater.  

During Nederlandse Dansdagen, the Dance Company will present a varied mix of Dutch choreographies that have not been performed here before. The performance will be an explosion of dance fun with work by, among others, Korzo dancer and choreographer Astrid Boons, former NDT dancer and choreographer Fernando Magadan, and Limburg-based Stephen Shropshire.
