Chilean company La Llave Maestra and Valdivia's Chamber Orchestra join forces to bring to life The Carnival of Animals, the famous musical suite created by French composer Camille Saint-Säens.
Elephants, turtles, swans, whales, jellyfish, giraffes, dragonflies, manta rays and the most unusual creatures of the animal kingdom enter the stage in a beautiful journey of movement, shapes and objects that will transport the spectator to the heart of the animal world. Le Carnaval des Animaux is a ballet of forms and objects - an ode to the beauty and grandeur of animals. An invitation to contemplate with open senses and get carried away by music, creativity and visualisation. With Danse Macabre by Camille Saint-Säens and Clair de Lune by Claude Debussy, the scenic journey through the animal world is complete.
This performance takes place as part of Kinderboekenweek 2025.
