In the tragicomical opera Ariadne auf Naxos, we witness a clash between opera makers and comedians, between 'elite' classical musicians and creators of entertainment. Due to circumstances, they must perform a show together. What should have been a sparking clash between 'high' and 'low' art is ultimately a bull's-eye. The unifying power of music proves irresistible to all.
With leading roles for the internationally renowned Dutch soprano Annemarie Kremer and the acclaimed Swedish tenor Daniel Frank.
