Hunchback of Notre Dames
Pip Utton
Pip Utton takes on the role of Quasimodo, the bell-ringer of the Notre Dame in Paris. He watches over the lifeless body of his great love, the gypsy girl Esmeralda. Then he tells his life story: rejected at birth as a monstrosity, lovingly raised by the archdeacon of the cathedral, rejected by everyone else.
In this English solo performance, Quasimodo is not portrayed as the caricature seen in film adaptations. His life is a fascinating and poetic story, with both comical and heartbreaking moments. And who better to tell this story than Pip Utton?
