The evening consists of two dance pieces by Korzo's current generation of makers. Featuring former Nederlands Dans Theater dancers and award-winning choreographers.
I see you see me is a duet in which two performers continuously rearrange physical and emotional relationships within a simple space. With references to Edward Hopper and Egon Schiele, the work explores presence, observation, and the tension between calm and vulnerability, without following a fixed narrative.
Lea danced for many years with Netherlands Dance Theater (NDT). Since 2025, she has been a maker at Korzo. In ‘I see you see me’, she performs together with Spencer Dickhaus (also a former NDT dancer).
The scent of autumn—that is the rough translation of Thu Hương, the name of choreographer Tú Hoàng’s mother. With this performance, he pays tribute to his mother. In The Hương, two dancers perform a flowing mix of Vietnamese dance styles and contemporary dance. A choreography that breathes and flows, with precise gestures and delicate movements, showing Tú’s love for his mother and reflecting on their mother-son relationship.
Tú Hoàng has been a maker at Korzo since 2025 and won numerous awards as a choreographer. Before becoming a choreographer he danced at Conny Janssen Danst.
