TRUTH = DARE by Marc Vlemmix Dance and Leyden Academy (Tamar Shahinian) is a dance performance by people just like you and me. People who all carry something with them: Parkinson’s, arthritis, MS, or simply the ailments that come with age. Marc Vlemmix Dance’s performance poignantly shows that it takes courage to let go in order to start over, every single day. Marc Vlemminx Dance is inspired by the richness that arises from diverse lifestyle and identities in society.

Moving Kinship® is a daring initiative by Perform Europe, led by transdisciplinary feminist artist Beatrice Allegranti. The initiative will conclude its European tour during the festival with a full installation and performance. At its core, Moving Kinship® is a choreographic and research practice that intertwines dance, activism, and care. Rooted in a trauma-responsive feminist methodology, the project crosses boundaries to create spaces of connection with underrepresented communities. In the Netherlands, Allegranti works with dance artists Grace Bellel and Job Cornelissen (Bewogen Werken) to create a unique, hybrid work with and for adults with a rare form of early-onset dementia.
