Exchanging and returning tickets

Here you will find information about exchanging and returning tickets for our performances. If you have a question that we have not answered here, please contact the UITbalie.

How can I exchange or return my purchased tickets?You can exchange or return tickets up to 24 hours before the start of the performance*. 

You can cancel your tickets yourself digitally in your online account up to 24 hours before the start of the performance. You will then immediately receive a refund credit. This credit can be redeemed for tickets to another performance.

If you would like to exchange or return tickets in another way, please contact the UITbalie. If the UITbalie is not available by telephone (e.g. in the evening or on a Sunday morning), please send us an email. We will then contact you as soon as possible.

Tickets can be exchanged for another performance free of charge. If the ticket price of the performance is higher, you will need to pay the difference in price.

You can also have the value of the purchased tickets converted into an online refund credit in 'My theatre account' free of charge. Here you can view the current (remaining) balance and the expiry date of your credit.

Would you rather have your money back? You will then pay €6 administration costs per ticket (up to a maximum of €24 per transaction). If you are a season ticket holder, you will pay €3 administration costs per ticket (up to a maximum of €12 per transaction).

*Tickets for (Euregional) bus trips and André Rieu's terrace experiences can be returned up to one month before the performance date.

Can I cancel my tickets online?
You can cancel your tickets yourself online in your online account. This is possible up to 24 hours* before the start of the performance. You will then immediately receive a refund credit equal to the purchase amount. This credit can also be found in your online account under 'My credits'. The credit remains valid for 2 years and can be redeemed for another performance.

You can cancel your tickets by logging into your account and clicking on 'Cancel' under 'My performances' for the relevant performance. If you only want to cancel some of your tickets for a performance, or would prefer a refund (excluding cancellation fees), you can also fill in the online form under 'My performances' - 'Cancel'.

*A different cancellation period applies to bus trips and experiences.
